An Australian heavy-equipment operator needed a MIL-spec wiring harness built strictly to drawing and BOM, no substitutions — potted solder joints, glue-lined heat-shrink splices, inkjet wire marking, silicone sleeving, and a 100% continuity cross-check with circuit-resistance readings. One specified Amphenol PT-series circular connector carried a 24-week lead time and a MOQ of 50. We built two qualification samples first and advised free-issuing the long-lead connector, holding the harness lead time to about 4 weeks, and ran the full test regime (pull, continuity, wire-sequence, crimp, dimensional and electron-microscope inspection) under IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. The samples were approved and put into production, with a confirmed 50–100 unit follow-on order.

A North American smart-hardware distributor first came for standard cables, then needed a complete LED light-ring assembly combining a PCBA with custom wiring — a cross-category build most cable suppliers can't do. Using in-house PCBA capability alongside cable assembly, we delivered the integrated sub-assembly as a one-stop build for a 500-piece initial run, taking on a higher value-add share of the customer's BOM.

An IoT customer needed prototype PCBA for two new controller designs (a 4-layer main controller and a 2-layer sense board — 1.6 mm FR4, ENIG, 1 oz copper) and was comparing offshore vs local on both cost and speed. The BOM included a specialty BLE module not stocked by standard distributors, plus a customer-fitted part to exclude from the turnkey quote. We gave a granular per-stage lead-time breakdown (PCB fab, parts, assembly) totalling about 30 days, sourced the BLE module directly from its manufacturer, and quoted 10 sets per design for prototyping ahead of a planned 500-unit-per-design run. The customer found our lead time faster than their local supplier and planned to place the next order with us pending prototype validation.
